Building Regulations

A Building Regulations Compliance Certificate is a legal document which is issued by a regulated body, either the Local Authority or a Private Sector Company, to demonstrate that construction has been carried out to a minimum standard.

Most construction works are required by law to obtain a certificate.

This Ensures that the properties which are constructed or altered are safe and sustainable places to live and work.

This means that all buildings must meet the Building Control Standards, it is an essential part of the design process.

These specifications are also used by contractors as a guide to construction and by clients as part of the tendering process, often forming the basis of contractor quotations.
